Bitmain, uno de los principales fabricantes de equipos de minería de Bitcoin, ha anunciado el lanzamiento de su primer minero diseñado específicamente para la criptomoneda Kaspa (KAS). Se llama Antminer KS3.

Este nuevo dispositivo alcanza una tasa de hash de 8terahashes por segundo (Th/s). La eficiencia energética también es un aspecto destacado del KS3, con 3,188W (similar al minero de Bitcoin S19 XP). Cabe destacar que Bitmain, que también fabrica mineros ASIC para Bitcoin, Litecoin, Ethereum Classic y Zcash, aún no ha revelado el precio del KS3 para minar Kaspa.
